The world is more global and fast paced than it has ever been, with more economic growth, more millionaires, more billionaires, larger factories, more consumer goods and more choices. As a species we’ve made amazing strides, we’ve stood on the moon and soon hoping to stand on Mars. We built bigger cities, longer bridges, faster cars, bigger boats and are making technological advances that challenge even the brightest of us. 

 

Unfortunately, this unchecked growth has caused the human race to face larger challenges than it has ever done before, and at an unprecedented speed.  From a global pandemic, to climate change, to the high rate of gender inequality, and to millions of people living without access to basic education and food sustenance. The only way for us rise above these challenges is to start by changing ourselves and make changes in everything we do. It is time to be the change we want to see in the world. 

 

At MNARA, besides supporting the families of the many artisans we work with in India, we pledge to dedicate a certain part of our earnings each year to be a part of this change. We are fortunate to work directly with the non-profit foundations established by our founding family in India. Specifically, our foundations work in the areas of education for unprivileged children, eradicating hunger, improving sanitation access and urban afforestation.
